Thailand’s Berli Jucker eyes big rise in regional sales

Berli Jucker Plc (BJC), Thailand’s retail, trading and healthcare supply chain company, seeks to raise the proportion of its international sales contribution to 50 percent of total revenue over the next five years via acquisitions and wider networks in the region.

Chief executive Aswin Techajareonvikul said it aimed to expand its business network and links to Laos, Vietnam and Cambodia.

International sales contributed about 20 percent of revenue or THB4.14 billion (USD116.6 million) in the first half of this year, down 15.9 percent from THB4.93 billion in the same period last year.
