Claire Vero, founder of Aurelia, will continue to stay on the board of the skincare brand and will lead Aurelia’s Research & Development (R&D) and product development teams.

“I am hugely confident and passionate about Aurelia Probiotic Skincare sitting within the Health & Happiness Group. There is a true and perfect synergy between the expertise and beliefs they have in probiotics and our vision in skin care,” Vero added.

The UK-based company will also continue to distribute from his home territory, ahead of plans to expand in Asia, the U.S and across Europe.

“The partnership will enable our brand to grow on a global scale in markets such as U.S., France and China. It will also allow us to continue to deliver new innovations,” added Vero.

Launched in 2013, Aurelia makes body care, children’s skin care and anti-ageing skin care. Aurelia products are currently distributed through Net-A-Porter, SpaceNK, and Barney’s New York.

H&H Group currently has four other vitamin and supplement brands in its portfolio: France’s Biostime and Australian vitamins brand Swisse, as well as Healthy Times and Dodie.

H&H expects to make sales of $2 billion by 2020. The probiotic skincare cosmetic product market is expected to grow at a CAGR of 14.6% from 2019 to 2025, according to Market Insights.
