A brand new dimension for TFWA world exhibition

TFWA on Monday announced that the keynote speaker at the opening Conference of TFWA World Exhibition on Monday 22 October will be Madeleine Albright, former US Secretary of State and Chair, Albright Stonebridge Group.

Dr Albright will present her views on how the dynamics of the political and economic spectrum, including unrest in the Middle East, unprecedented economic growth in Asia, and financial turmoil in Europe, will impact global business.

Her political career, including her service under President Clinton overseeing US foreign policy, her role as US Ambassador to the United Nations, as well as subsequent missions with NATO, give her a unique perspective on world affairs. Her personal experience with war as a child living in exile from her native Czechoslovakia has also influenced her throughout her career.

The theme of this year’s conference, which is attended by more than 800 industry delegates annually, will be "A Brand New Dimension" and will provide a compelling start to the annual duty free and travel retail event in the Palais des Festivals, Cannes.
