A GfK Group market survey found Logitech to be the largest vendor of mice, PC keyboards and external webcams in the Taiwan market in terms of sales value in 2009. This company accounted for a 40 percent share of the total sales of mice worth TWD570 million (USD17.4 million), a 42 percent share of keyboard sales worth TWD450 million (USD14.14 million) and a 30 percent share of webcam sales TWD230 million (USD7.3 million).
Logitech commented that the popularity of touch panels is growing fast, but it went on to add that it did not think they would replace mice in terms of precision movement and positioning on a screen.
