Ericsson plans to expand its purchases from Taiwan to include customer-premises equipment supporting 3.5G (high-speed downlink packet access, or HSDPA) and long-term evolution (LTE) standards as well as IPTV products in addition to current 2G and 3G products, the Chinese-language Commercial Times recently quoted Stefan Johansson, president of Ericsson Taiwan, as indicating.
