The app is described as “a lifestyle and fashion social platform for young people” where it aims to entice users who have high-quality taste and interest in the industry.
The layout of the app itself mimics Instagram and China’s Xiaohongshu – a social media and e-commerce platform. Those who download Oasis are able to browse content which they filter according to their interests like fashion, food, travel and beauty.
Just like Instagram, users can edit and share their photos and videos by using the app’s filters. For the time being, Oasis can be accessed through invite only, and users can only log in with their mobile number, Weibo, WeChat, or QQ account.
