Arjan leads the company’s global marketing efforts, overseeing strategy and execution of all initiatives across the marketing funnel, including the brand, social, performance and innovation marketing tracks.

Prior to joining Booking.com, Arjan served as Google’s Vice President of Global Marketing, responsible for leading the overall strategy and operations for Google’s marketing worldwide. His responsibilities included the marketing of Google’s suite of ad product solutions globally. Arjan also led media strategy and execution for all paid media across Google’s marketing campaigns. Prior to joining Google in 2008, Arjan worked for 5 years at Capital One in Europe, heading up the Marketing function and serving as a member of their Executive Leadership Team. Arjan also worked at Unilever in ice cream and frozen foods.

Both inside and outside the office, Arjan supports numerous LGBTQ+ initiatives including serving on the national board of GLAAD in the USA. He has a BBA degree (Nyenrode Business University), a Master degree in Sociology (Vrije University Amsterdam) and an MBA from INSEAD. A Netherlands native, Arjan recently relocated from California to Amsterdam with his black labrador retriever Mickie.

On 30th March, Booking.com CMO Arjan Dijkbrings is sharing his perceptive insights on how major brands are responding to shifting consumer behaviour under the ‘new normal’. Predicting marketing trends for the recovery era, especially the tourism industry, he identifies ‘positive’ branding and taking the lead in contributing to society as hallmarks of promotional strategy in an age of uncertainty.

Eray Li received his degree in E-commerce from South China University of Technology in 2005, and has 15 years of experience in online marketing under his belt.

He had served as Planning Director, Channel Director, General Manager of southern China region and Senior Marketing Specialist for leading companies, including Tencent, Cheetab Mobile and Alibaba.
