Future Group ties up with hybris for online synergy

Indian retail giant Future Group is adapting to an omni-commerce technology that allows the group to converge its digital and physical channels.

At a press conference on Wednesday, it announced its association with SAP company hybris, whose omni-commerce technology solutions will make all of Future Group’s brands available online from March.

"The overall investment in this B2C enabler (typically an e-commerce platform) is about INR100 crore (INR1 billion, USD16.6 million) and is spread over the next 18 months," Rakesh Biyani, joint managing director of Future Retail, told reporters. "This kind of omni-channel retail will change the way we interact and serve the customer," he added.
