Chow Sang Sang upgrades eShop with hybris suite

Hong Kong jewellery brand Chow Sang Sang has upgraded its eShop with technology from SAP’s hybris.

Chow Sang Sang is adopting the hybris B2C Commerce Suite to allow it to provide an omni-channel shopping experience to consumers worldwide.

The eShop has been upgraded as part of the retailer’s 80th anniversary celebrations, and will serve as a flagship initiative for the brand’s innovation-focused transformation.

Chow Sang Sang is aiming to revamp its customer experience and inventory management processes as part of this transformation.

As part of the celebrations, the company has also implemented new virtual mirror digital technologies allowing customers to “try” its accessories before they buy. Customers can also reserve items online and pick them up in stores.

“Technology and connectedness have changed the way customers browse, shop, purchase and pay for goods. Innovation and customer engagement is also important to drive positive word of mouth and nurture younger generation customers,” Chow Sang Sang deputy general manager Winston Chow said.

“As the first jewellery company listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, we have a history and tradition that goes back eight decades and are now combining the refinement of our traditional craftsmanship with the power of today’s technologies to better serve our customers.”
