Delhi-based Sagar Ratna Hotels Pvt. Ltd – which runs the Sagar Ratna chain of vegetarian restaurants that specialises in south Indian food in northern India – is planning to extend its activities to the ready-to-eat (RTE) food segment.
Its entry into the RTE segment is likely to take place in the next 15 months, said vice-president of Sagar Ratna Hotels Vikas Shrivastav.
The RTE line will be launched with about 20 products and they will be retailed through the company’s existing outlets.
