Venchi Beijing Sanlitun Store was officially launched on 13 th July 2019. The Ambassador of Italy to the People’s Republic of China – Mr. Ettore F. Sequi, as honourable guest took part to the event together with the Chairman of China-Italy Chamber of Commerce – Mr. Davide Cucino.
The Managing Director of Venchi Greater China – Mr. Marco Galimberti welcomes the guests expressing his sincere appreciation to help make this event come together to become a great success. He then invited them to cut the ribbon and raise their glasses to celebrate the Grand Opening of Venchi Sanlitun new store.
Venchi Sanlitun store is the 5th one in Beijing and 11 th in Mainland China, and remarks a further step up in the history of the Brand. The store opened in a strategic iconic and trendy area of Beijing, popular for locals and foreigners alike, famous for shopping dining and entertainment in the whole country.
The Ambassador of Italy in the PRC held a speech congratulating Venchi for the successful expansion of the company and to be a high-quality Italian Made flagship brand in China. The CICC Chairman on the same line highlighted that Venchi is a symbol of quality of Authentic Italian products in China, establishing the Made in Italy abroad.
The guests were accompanied for a shop tour and a sensory journey through all the delicacies available: from gelato to chocolate, from crepes to coffee specialities.
During the event, Venchi present the Mid-Autumn Festival collection with two brand new flavours: Earl Grey Tea Chocolate Mooncake and Ginger and Coconut Chocolate Mooncake, together with four festive gift boxes that will be launched on 15th July.
Venchi’s story began in the 1800s in the Italian region of Piedmont thank to Mr. Silvano Venchi passion for chocolate.
At the age of 16, Silviano started to create chocolate in his own store that rapidly became one of the most appreciated confectionary shops in the city and renowned for its amazing quality and sophisticated style. A true “chocolate boutique”!
Venchi was founded in 1878 and in the same year it launched its version of the traditional Gianduiotto recipe with a minimum of 32% of Piedmont hazelnuts: an iconic product and symbol of Venchi’s ability of innovating while remaining faithful to the Piedmontese tradition.
