TIL is a place to house the founders’ fond memories of Australia and its passion for good coffee. Inspired by the renowned golden sunsets and the sandstone monolith – Uluru in the Red Centre of northern Australia, the team has chosen the Burnt-Orange as the theme colour of the shop.

The huge panel of windows along the unique shape of its facade allows as much natural light as possible; With high ceilings, large amounts of white colour and plantings have been used to enhance the brightness and airy atmosphere.

Being situated among old buildings in the friendly neighbourhood, Sai Ying Pun, a relatively old district in Hong Kong, a modern lift has been provided by employing strong geometrical forms on the facade and to make the coffee shop stand out from its surroundings. Right next to the entrance, a take-away grab-and-go coffee counter with a bi-fold window also forms part of the facade and it aims to cater those who want a quick fix for caffeine, especially during the COVID times.
