To celebrate the launch of VIVE Harbour City pop-up and White Day, a special holiday in Japan where men return gifts to their sweethearts who have gifted them with chocolate on Valentine’s Day, Vivien has created a repertoire of three new delectable mini cakes for this momentous occasion. Continuing the motif of VIVE’s well-known unicorn, the Magicorn (HK$55) mini cake is an elegant slice of cheesecake with a biscuit crumble crust and Chantilly cream that mimics fluffy clouds, upon which a pink marzipan unicorn and a rainbow peeks out of.

Made for the perfect mother-daughter bonding experience of shopping, VIVE’s Like Mother Like Daughter (HK$55) mini cake is a sophisticated round vanilla sponge cake with white chocolate mousse and filled with passion fruit mousse and jam. The cake is ‘dressed’ with two pink heart-shaped chocolates symbolising the love between mother and daughter, a pink-and-gold macaron, and a solitary white purple bead, completing the elegant look.

Completing the trio of products is Mr Piggy (HK$50), a light pink coloured dome-shaped cake with pastel pink ears and nose, made with chocolate sponge cake with earl grey mousse and blood orange fillings. Symbolising the Lunar Year of the Pig, this mini cake brings the cultural significance of Chinese zodiac to international shoppers in a fun and imaginative way.

In addition to the delicious new mini cake creations and offers, Vivien and her team have also designed whimsical memorabilia and treats for shoppers to take home with them. Ever the technology focused world, VIVE has designed a special unicorn portable charger inspired by their signature Uni-Cone cake that has been the talk of the town since its conception. The first 100 customers who purchase VIVE’s signature Uni-Cone cake will take home with them the one of a kind portable charger from 5 to 10 March.

Fans of VIVE are invited to join the newly launched VIVE Club as a VIVE PASSION member to gain exclusive offers designed for members and to keep up to date with the latest promotional offers. Upon becoming a member between 5 to 31 March, newly inducted members will receive a box of Vivien’s famous cookies (one time offer).

Vive Cake Boutique has proved a roaring success story since being launched with online orders in 2014 by founder and creative director Vivien Lau, who discovered her passion and talent by chance, making her first cake for a friend’s birthday. Her signature ‘handmade with love’ cakes, cupcakes, macarons, cookies, confectioneries and tailor-made cakes for weddings and special occasions, are all made from scratch from finest ingredients sourced from all over the world.
