To coincide with Pacific Place’s 30th Anniversary celebrations, THIS IS SALVATORE FERRAGAMO’S PLACE – a boxyz themed pop up workshop will be opened on Level L1, Pacific Place from 15 – 21 July 2019, inviting public to immerse themselves in the world of Italian style and creativity through the new boxyz collection and handicrafts.
Boxyz, a new classic created by Creative Director Paul Andrew who consolidated unique thoughts and needs towards handbag from various modern women, is a portable and precious safe space crafted with Ferragamo’s heritage expertise.
Boxyz’s X, Y, Z represent women in three different generations. Sleek lines and architectural silhouettes mark the timeless elegance of the boxyz, crafted to appeal to all stylish women in different fashionable styles.
Available in ten colors and four materials – calf, tweed, ostrich and lizard, all boxyz bags, which come in three sizes, are equipped with both top-handle and adjustable (and removable) shoulder-strap. The elegant, versatile design is scaled to suit every style and occasion.
In addition to the latest spring summer boxyz bag collection, limited editions featuring peony and waterlily prints will also be displayed at THIS IS SALVATORE FERRAGAMO’S PLACE. The handicraft workshop consists of origami and coloring activities.
Specially designed by Hong Kong origami artist, the boxyz inspired origami paper can be folded into a mini, true to life boxyz bag; participants can adorn their boxyz bags with different decorations for a personal touch; the elegant peony print is transformed into coloring cards, awaiting participants to bring them to life with their creativity and plentiful colors.
