Intuition Meets Fantasy (1)

Few nations across the world are as admired for their beauty philosophy and rituals as Japan, and no brand is as synonymous with Japanese Beauty as Shiseido, one of the world’s oldest beauty brands.

Bearing Shiseido’s pedigree in developing the finest beauty products are its three of its leading Cosmetics & Personal Care brands: sun care authority Anessa, cleansing specialist Senka, and Asian hair care expert Tsubaki.

From Sep 20 to Oct 20, 2019, these brands will be hosting the world’s first My Japanese Beauty Pop-Up Store with Watsons Singapore, Shiseido Singapore’s strongest supporter, and top local beauty retailer.

Held along Orchard Road just outside Takashimaya, this educational and experiential event invites the public to discover the secrets of Japanese Beauty on a multi-sensorial journey.

The pop-up brings to life Shiseido’s illustrious heritage, the essence of Japanese Beauty, and showcases of the three brands.

Visitors can look forward to eight historical products, which are Shiseido Museum artefacts flown out of Japan for the first time with special escort and white-gloved treatment. Highlights include first-generation products, such as Tsubaki’s Classic Shampoo and Conditioner, Anessa’s Sunscreen Milk, and Senka’s Perfect Whip.

Infusing an immersive element into the event are high-tech digital touchpoints that are intuitively triggered by footsteps to deliver sound, music and animation. Also, guests are treated to customised collagen tea and interactive product-discovery experiences. Guiding them along the way is a pop-up experience microsite, accessible via the Watsons app/website or a QR code.
