Paul Smith plans return to China, to open at least 26 stores in 5 years

UK fashion label Paul Smith is set to return to China’s mainland after exiting the market a few years ago, with a new store opening in Tianjin in September and a megastore in Shanghai for the end of this year.

ImagineX, the Hong Kong-based distributor chosen to handle the reintroduction of Paul Smith to the mainland, is planning a further 24 stores in the market over the next five years "at the very least", a spokeswoman for the group said.
