Thailand’s Woraluk Property Co will spend THB1 billion (USD31.7 million) to develop W District community mall, the last project on a 12-rai plot in Bangkok’s Phra Khanong area where it has developed two condominium projects launched in 2007 and plans to launch a budget hotel by late 2013.
Woraluk’s president Wichai Poolworaluk said W District, which features a shopping area totalling 10,000 square metres, would be located in front of the two condominium projects. It will be launched in next year’s third quarter.
The budget hotel, named Hi Hip Hostel, will be a four-storey building with a total of 100 beds with room rate of around THB1,000 a night. It will be located behind the condominium projects.
