Thai shopping mall developer Central Pattana to invest USD1.3b over 3 years

Thailand’s largest shopping mall developer Central Pattana Pcl said it aimed to invest about THB46 billion (USD1.30 billion) from 2016 to 2018, mostly on developing new projects, to boost average revenue growth to 15 percent a year.

In 2016, the firm planned to open one new shopping mall at southern province Nakorn Sri Thammarat and renovate four shopping centers according to senior executive vice president Naparat Sriwanvit.

The company planned to open two new shopping malls in 2017 and was on track to open a THB8.3 billion Central I-City shopping mall in Malaysia in 2018, Naparat added.
