China’s Wuhan to get world’s 3rd tallest building

China real estate developer Shanghai Greenland Group is to build the world’s third tallest building in the Chinese city of Wuhan with a total investment of CNY30 billion (USD4.51b).
The 3 million square metre property, to be named Wuhan Greenland Centre, will include luxury hotels, apartments and a conference centre, the company said.

Other developers such as Shui On Land have committed to build a mixed-use development comprising residential, office, hotel and retail outlets called Wuhan Tiandi, to cost CNY10 billion (USD1.5b).
