On 23rd August 2020, Japanese clothing label Nanamica opened its first store outside Japan in SoHo, New York.
Nanamica New York is the second Nanamica brand store to open, following Nanamica Tokyo, which opened last year in October, since the company has intended to have stages in global hubs, which expresses the total brand world of Nanamica.
The New York store also have a limited selection of The North Face Purple Label, collaboration line with The North Face.
The store is designed in collaboration with Japanese architect, Taichi Kuma and in the image of a “beach house,” expressing the free and relaxed feeling of the seaside, but with a distinctly Japanese aesthetic sensibility meaning the true highlight is the nanamica products.
