Lazada Malaysia plans more assortment to stay competitive

Lazada Malaysia plans to continuously increase its assortment range to almost double by year-end, while staying as a customer-centric marketplace, to remain competitive in the e-commerce platform.

As part of the Lazada Group which operates South-East Asia’s number one online shopping and selling destination, Lazada Malaysia will be tapping into more category items, offering wider selection and items for customers, including those which are difficult to find in offline stores.

Chief Executive Officer, Hans-Peter Ressel, told Bernama the company also wanted to give more access of the products to people who lived in rural areas in Malaysia, particularly in Sabah and Sarawak.
