C-Connect launches Ippin online shopping mall in Japan

C-Connect, the retail e-commerce company selling printer inks and sanitary napkins, has launched Ippin, an online shopping mall specialized in direct sales and distribution from Japan to foreign countries.

Focusing not just on “Made in Japan” products but also high–quality “Produced by Japan” and “Popular in Japan” items, the site targets China and Southeast Asian countries rapidly growing in e-commerce market.

The site currently has seven stores and expects to reach 20 stores by the end of July, and 200 by the end of December 2016. Products include “Japan-quality” items in categories such as food, fashion, cosmetics, kids’ and electric appliances.

Ippin is currently designed as a mobile site, but will launch with a desktop version at a later date.

According to the CEO of C-Connect, “The lack of payment options and slow loading speeds have been an issue for many Japanese e-commerce websites pursuing Asian markets. Ippin resolves that by expanding payment options and distributing servers.”
