Opening earlier this July, inside Singapore’s Jewel Changi Airport, Skechers has bowed a renewed retail experience with the most extensive range of Skechers apparel, shoes, and accessories along with Jewel-exclusive collections.

Inside, the design is modern and sleek, with bright lighting and cement panels.

The 5,000 square-foot duplex is also the first store in Singapore to offer a customisation zone for customers to personalise their newly-purchase goods.

For the opening, Skechers Singapore hosted a launch party, with Skechers brand ambassadors Justin Huang Minghao and Huang Xinchun of NEX7.

Guests were able to make their own customised pouch and take part in photo opportunities via the store’s designated selfie-wall.

Founded in California in 1992, Skechers today designs and markets performance shoes for athletes and active individuals across the globe. It also offers lifestyle shoes for every age and demographic.

Earlier in July, Skechers reported record sales of $1.259 billion in the second quarter ended June 30, 2019, up 10.9% from the $1.135 billion reported in the prior-year period.

Net earnings for the quarter totalled $75.2 million, a 66% increase, while diluted earnings per share were $0.49, up 69% from $0.20.

The company’s international business remains its fastest growing. Overseas wholesale business grew 18.2% last quarter, while its company-owned global direct-to-consumer business recorded an increase of 14.4%.
