Thailand’s Siam Piwat lifts marketing

Thailand-based retail and development company Siam Piwat Co, the operator of Siam Center, Siam Discovery and Siam Paragon in Bangkok, will increase its marketing budget by 10 percent to 15 percent for the rest of the year to restore the image of the area and revive the shopping mood.

Chadatip Chutrakul, CEO of Siam Paragon and managing director of Siam Center and Siam Discovery, said the new marketing budget for the three shopping centres over the final seven months would be THB770-800 million (USD23.6-24.5 million).

About 30 percent of the budget would go toward social contribution campaigns to be held every month.
