Indonesia’s Sarinah to polish old mall, build hotel

Indonesia’s state-owned department store PT Sarinah plans to polish its old mall and build a hotel this year that will require a more than IDR1 trillion (USD106.29 million) investment, an executive said on Monday.

"We plan to start the project in the second semester of this year," President Director Jimmy Gani told the press.

He said that the company had secured a 1.7 hectare area to build the hotel and expand the mall in their current area.
