Bose debuts a new pop-up store in Changi Airport

Bose has partnered Changi Airport for an exclusive Asia- Pacific preview of its cutting-edge Bose Frames.

Travellers flying through Changi Airport will be the first to experience and own Bose’s first audio sunglasses equipped with Bose AR capability and try out its latest noise-cancellation headphones, at the Changi 1st Bose concept pop-up store at Terminal 3 Transit Departure Hall.

The Bose Frames will launch in Asia Pacific from 13 June 2019.

The Changi 1st Bose concept pop-up store features two immersive zones that let travellers experience Bose products in innovative ways. In one of the zones, travellers get to don Bose Frames – the first audio sunglasses from Bose – and go on virtual adventures across different scenes while a complementary soundtrack plays from the device.

In another zone, travellers get to experience the power of Bose’s latest noise-cancelling technology used in their latest headphones in sound domes that enable users to journey through various scenes.

The pop-up store also has a photobooth where travellers can snap and upload pictures of themselves with the Bose Frames and share their memories for a chance to win a pair of Bose Frames.

The virtual reality concept will serve as a one-of-a-kind attraction, while the exclusive launch of the audio sunglasses will give Changi’s passengers the opportunity to experience a break-through innovation ahead of the rest of Asia Pacific.”

Retailing at S$299.00 with GST / S$279.44 without GST (in Travel retail), Bose Frames, the first audio sunglasses from Bose, are a revolutionary personal audio experience. It is available in two classic designs to choose from, each enriched with premium accents and materials.

The frames are the first commercial product to be embedded with the Bose AR technology, a first-of-its-kind audio augmented reality platform that combines the power of next-gen Bose audio products with innovative mobile applications, creating fundamentally new ways to travel, exercise, learn, play, and more. These miniaturised Bose electronics produce rich immersive sound for wearers, while those around hear virtually nothing. Play music and take calls while blocking up to 99% UVA/UVB rays when outdoors.

The Changi 1st Bose concept pop-up store will be at Changi Airport Terminal 3 Transit Departure Hall (beside Shilla) from 5 June 2019 to 30 June 2019. Operating hours are from 10am to 10pm.
