Swiss Haute Horlogerie manufacturer Audemars Piguet celebrated the grand opening of its new boutique in Taipei City and its first boutique in Chengdu International Finance Square (IFS).

Audemars Piguet celebrated the grand opening of its new boutique in Taipei City with 176guests, including actor Bolin Chen, fashion KOL Kiwi Lee, as well as singers Crowd Lu and Julia Wu.
Located in Taipei’s prestigious Xinyi shopping district’s A13 Far Eastern Mall, the two-floor boutique represents Audemars Piguet’s largest boutique in Taiwan with a surface of 240sqm. Inspired by the Manufacture’s geographic origins in the Swiss Jura Mountains, its décor plunges visitors into the brand’s universe.

Watch enthusiasts will discover a curated selection of Audemars Piguet’s latest models across its collections, including the Royal Oak, the Royal Oak Offshore, the Millenary and the Code 11.59 by Audemars Piguet. The boutique also includes a cosy lounge, a dedicated customer service area and a virtual atelier where visitors can learn more about the manufacturing and hand-finishing processes of selected timepieces.
As Bolin Chen mentioned after visiting the boutique: “Possessing an Audemars Piguet watch is like having a small universe on the wrist. I am fascinated by watchmakers’ meticulous work and by how aesthetics merges into details.”
To celebrate the grand opening in Chengdu, an exhibition of Audemars Piguet ladies’ timepieces washeld in the atrium of IFS from 8th to 14th July. This newly unveiled boutique in Chengdu IFS is the fourth boutique of Audemars Piguet in Mainland China, prior to it, three boutiques were respectively unveiled in Shanghai and Beijing. This grand move also marks a milestone for the development of Audemars Piguet in China.

The boutique interior design is inspired by the Manufacture’s geographic origins in the Swiss Jura Mountains, where it has been rooted since 1875. The bespoke furniture uniting wood and stone are complemented with an impressive chandelier reminds guests of the cloud and mist wreathing the mountain.
It is in this atmosphere that watch lovers and collectors will discover a curated selection of the Manufacture’s newest models across its collections, including the Royal Oak and CODE11.59 by Audemars Piguet.
Audemars Piguet presented a selection of ladies’ timepieces in a dedicated exhibition taking inspiration from its home in the Vallée de Joux, located in the IFS’s atrium for one week. The Manufacture’s Haute Joaillerie timepieces, including the DiamondTrilogy and the Sapphire Orbe unique piece, were for the first time exhibited together in a rock-inspired showcase. These high jewelry creations weave together exceptional gem-setting craftsmanship and pioneering design. T
he exhibition also unveiled the latest Royal Oak Self winding collection in 34 mm in stainless steel and/or18-carat pink gold alongside Millenary models. The free-spirited Millenary Frosted Gold Philosophique in pink or white gold, was accompanied by two models from the Millenary Hand-Wound collection, whose off-centered dial reveals part of the watch’s beating heart.
The Chinese celebrity, singer and actress, Stephy Qi, attended the opening ceremony of the new boutique and the exhibition. Her elegant attendance and independent personality highly echo and further enrich the ethos of the brand spirit.
