India’s Godrej Appliances Ltd aims to achieve 40 percent growth in sales during the festive season this year.
"Onam [South Indian festival] sales were not too good this year and this is primarily due to the short window available. There were also some postponements in purchase decisions by customers due to the heavy monsoons. So there is a huge pent up demand and we see that boosting this years’ festive sales," says Kamal Nandi, vice president of Sales and Marketing in the Appliance Division.
