Philips has announced plans for 11 new 3D televisions. The devices in the PFL6007 series range in size from 32 to 55 inches and use passive polarisation technology. In the PFL7007 and PFL8007 series, which come in 40-, 46- and 55-inch versions, shutter technology is also employed. All models default to full HD in 2D mode, with image optimisation working at 800 hertz – more than twice the amount of more entry-level lines.
