Japanese carmaker Nissan on Tuesday said it is in talks with Hinduja Group flagship company Ashok Leyland to develop a small car for the global market for the USD4,500-5,000 price range. The company, which is also a partner in the development of an ultra low cost car with Bajaj Auto and Renault, said this project has yet to find a solution to produce such a cheap car.
