Mazda and Ford are in talks about possibly dissolving their joint venture in China and establishing a new structure for cooperating with their common Chinese partner.
A person close to the Japanese automaker said Mazda and Ford are discussing possible ways to split those China operations into two separate entities, with the Chongqing operations owned and operated by Ford and Changan, and the Nanjing base by Mazda and Changan.
