Maruti India recalls 100,000 A-Stars for faulty parts

Maruti Suzuki, India’s largest car producer, on Wednesday admitted that it has recalled all 100,000 A-Stars manufactured before 22 August 2009 to replace faulty components that could cause fuel leakages. This is the largest recall by an Indian automaker, with Maruti surpassing its own record of recalling 76,000 Omnis in 2001.
