Indian automaker Mahindra & Mahindra is still facing production constraints on all its vehicle models due to a shortage of auto parts, a senior executive said.
Auto parts makers have not been able to keep up with demand after automobile sales – after being hit by the global economic slowdown in 2008 and early 2009 – rapidly recovered from the middle of last year because of the government’s stimulus packages and attractive lending rates.
