Auto major Tata Motors today reported a 38.01 percent jump in total sales in March up to 75,151 units. The Indica range reported sales of 11,618 units, the highest this fiscal year.
The Indigo series, with sales of 7,537 units, recorded 66 percent growth over the same month last year. The Sumo and Safari accounted for 3,896 units in sales, a fall of 23 percent compared to the same month the previous year.
Tata’s small car, the Nano, sold 4,710 units in March.
