Ralph Speth is the new CEO of Jaguar Land Rover and will assume the reins from David Smith, who resigned recently. Speth will report to Carl-Peter Forster, the recently appointed Group CEO of Tata Motors.
Speth has over 22 years’ experience in the European auto industry, most of which was at BMW, where his last appointment was as Vice-President, Land Rover. BMW sold the business to Ford in 2000.
