Bosch may declare lock out at its India plant in Bangalore

The world’s largest auto parts company Bosch is expected to declare a lockout at its flagship plant in Bangalore, India, on 15 March after workers went on a "go-slow" when the management rejected their demand for higher wages. A lock out was declared at its Naganathapura plant, near Bangalore, on 8 March after incidents of violence were reported near the plant.

Both plants contribute more than 50 percent of the INR4,700 crore (INR47 billion, USD1 billion) turnover of the company.
