Bentley looking to new markets says regional director at India launch of Mulsanne

The UK’s luxury automaker Bentley launched to Indian customers its INR2.9 crore (INR29 million, USD636,104) Mulsanne on Monday and stated it will be available on Indian roads by October/November 2010.

With a new focus on Asia, Chris Buxton, regional director for the Middle East, Africa and India, says "Traditionally, the US, the UK and parts of Europe have contributed to about 80% of the company’s sales. But since the [economic] slowdown, their share has dropped to 60%, so we are looking more towards the emerging markets now."
