Unilever’s Aviance brand hatches strategy to blanket Asia

Unilever, the consumer goods conglomerate, will broaden its Aviance direct-sales business throughout Asia in the next five to10 years.

Aviance’s expansion will be faster than in the past," said Bauke Rouwers, the chairman of Aviance International. He said the company has a five-year plan to expand its direct-sales business in Asean, serving all of Asia by 2021.

Unilever set up its luxury direct-sales business under the Aviance label 11 years ago. Today, Aviance covers Thailand, Cambodia, Malaysia and India.
