Australian cosmetics company Aesop has just opened a new shop-in-shop concept in Tokyo this July, as seen on Superfuture.
Located inside Newoman, a new retail concept directly opposite Shinjuku Station that’s targeted at females, the 46 square meter (495 square feet) shop was beautifully designed by Tokyo-based Torafu Architects.
The entire setting is crafted from limestone, including the floors and ceiling, and two pillars with incorporated shelving are situated on one side.
A grid of sunken ceiling lights illuminates the shop, and a single desk lamp on the detached sales counter keeps the space bright and clean.
