Anticipating continued growth in the Indian market, direct selling fast-moving consumer goods major Amway India has increased the production capacity of its leading vendor facility at Baddi, in the northern state of Himachal Pradesh, involving investments of INR55 crore (INR550 million, USD12.4 million).
According to Bill Pinckney, managing director and CEO of Amway India, the facility has four new lines, each with more automation, to take care of mid-term demand for its products.
