Speciality Restaurants Private Limited (SRPL), which owns the Mainland China restaurants, will soon acquire a South Indian eatery chain. "We are in talks with two South Indian food chains for possible acquisition. We are going to formalise the deal for acquisition of at least one in the next few months at a consideration of Rs20 crore [INR200 million, USD4.4 million]," Anjan Chatterjee, chairman of SRPL said.
