Phenix

OnTheList, members-only flash sales platform which has been devoting its business to sustainability at 360 degree,  and particularly paying attention to HK community, takes up a new challenge and launches Phenix by OnTheList.

Phenix by OnTheList is a newly launched app in HK (but already existing in Europe for a few years) with the objective to avoid good food from going to waste.

Since 2015, OnTheList has committed to turn inventory into opportunities, helping brands to manage their past season stocks by saving more than 2M items from landfill.

Phenix is a fantastic scale-up based in Europe, saving 120,000 meals daily and actively fighting against food waste. To continue this fight in Asia, OnTheList is teaming up with Phenix to find a sustainable solution for F&B companies in Hong Kong to connect with consumers and reduce food waste.

App users can order the “Mystery Basket” for a pre-setup discounted value (minimum 50%) and come pick up during the time slot chosen by the partner, directly at the shop. The “Mystery Basket” refers to the food surplus that partners have at the end of the day, products that are still good for consumption on same day.

Food items and packages are subject to availability as Pirata Group is not producing more food for Phenix, instead, it hopes to reduce food waste with the new platform as food wastage is always something the group cares.

Other partners of Phenix includes The Cakery, Cali-Mex, Classified, Little Mermaid and more.
