Thailand’s Serm Suk to launch cola

Serm Suk Plc, a Thai bottler of Pepsi, Mirinda and 7 Up, is planning to introduce its own soft drink.

A beverage industry source confirmed on Monday that the new brand from Serm Suk will enter Thailand’s THB35-billion (USD1.12b) soft drink market on 1 November.

The company will end its distribution contract with Pepsi Co Inc, the trademark owner of Pepsi, Mirinda and 7-Up, on the same day.
