Located in Singapore’s newly opened Jewel Changi Airport, with the other store opening at Jurong Point shopping centre, the two new outlets are part of the café’s global expansion, according to the café’s owner PTT Oil and Retail Business Public Company Limited (PTTOR).

“We are extremely pleased to serve up here in Singapore the taste of Café Amazon, a coffee brand we proudly set up in 2002 starting off in our PTT gas stations to service travellers,” said PTTOR Chairman, Auttapol Rerkpiboon and Jiraphon Kawswat, President and Chief Executive Officer.

“Throughout 15 years of business, we’re proud to say that Café Amazon has received an overwhelming response in every country it operates.”

For its Singapore debut in meeting the local tastes of consumers, Café Amazon has adjusted its snack and beverage menu, with Yin Yang; Premium Matcha Latte as its signature drink.

PTTOR plans to invest US$1.3 billion to open 20,000 branches of Café Amazon over the next five years under a franchise business model.

With a store count of 2,750 globally, Café Amazon currently boasts 2,500 branches in Thailand and 200 outlets overseas including in Singapore, Laos, Cambodia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Japan and Oman.
