The Airport Authority Hong Kong yesterday announced the tender results for four catering outlets at Departures Hall, non-restricted area of Terminal 1 at the Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA). Among the four dining outlets, The Peak Lookout and Tsui Wah Restaurant will be open to airport users tentatively in the fourth quarter of 2012 while Maxim’s Jade Garden and Le Grande by Pokka Café, will be open tentatively in the second quarter of 2013.
HKIA currently houses more than 80 dining outlets. The new dining outlets, which were awarded via an open tender that aroused great market interest, will bring in more dining selections on top of the existing wide variety of choice.
HKIA was voted the world’s Best Airport Dining in annual Skytrax survey consecutively from 2009 to 2012.
