Swiss luxury watch maker Breguet recently invited VIP guests and journalists to the Grand Opening of its boutique at Beijing Yintai Centre, inaugurated in June. Inspired by Marie-Antoinette, Queen of France and her residences’ splendid gardens, the House of Breguet focused on its feminine and high jewellery pieces, presented throughout a series of tea ceremonies.
Founded by Abraham-Louis Breguet in Paris in 1775, Breguet is one of the oldest surviving watch-making establishments and is the pioneer of numerous watch-making technologies. It was acquired by the Swatch Group in 1999. The brand opened a Breguet Salon at the heart of the multibrand Cortina boutique in Bangkok last month.
