Located inside West Edmonton Mall, the new flagship will act as the premier point-of-sale of Mujosh sunglasses, frames and accessories in North America.
West Edmonton Mall is the largest shopping mall in North America, It receives about 32 million visitors per year and attracts between 90,000 and 200,000 shoppers daily.
“This successful debut in Canada marks a milestone for Mujosh on its way to expand globally,” the company said, in a news statement.
Owned and operated by the Yfeng Group, Mujosh has been rapidly expanding over the past three years. It previously announced plans to open up to 1,000 specialty stores and mature distribution channels globally.
In 2015, it made its European market debut, setting up a stall at the Silmo Paris optical fair and featured at 2016 edition of Milano Eyewear Show. It is yet to officially open a European location.
Mujosh glasses are renowned for their bold design and creativity. The Hong Kong outfit “values handicraft, cherishing the original touch of materials,” according to the brand’s website.
