This year we have seen a number of brands entering the metaverse with virtual stores, such as beauty brand Lancôme, fashion brand Burberry, lifestyle brand TUMI, and many more.

This November, makeup brand Charlotte Tilbury joined the list with a holiday-themed virtual store, Charlotte’s Virtual Beauty Gifting Wonderland.

“My three-dimensional virtual beauty gifting wonderland is at the centre of the Charlotte Tilbury metaverse this holiday season,” said Charlotte Tilbury, British beauty entrepreneur, Makeup Artist, Founder, President, Chairwoman and Chief Creative Officer of Charlotte Tilbury Beauty.

In partnership with Obsess, an experiential e-commerce platform, the virtual reality experience includes a Shop with Friends function, which allows visitors to navigate the virtual store in a group and talk in real time to discover the brand’s latest holiday product offerings.

“It combines all the sparkle and retail theatre of our stores with the ease and portability of the digital universe to unveil a truly immersive Charlotte Tilbury experience. Customers will be guided by my Magic Charlotte avatar to enjoy the magic of in-store from the comfort of their own home. Digital innovation is at the heart of everything we do and I am so excited that we can bring this beauty tech to life for you to shop and play this holiday,” continued Charlotte Tilbury.

“We have always been a digital first brand; it is at the heart of everything we do, so by launching this virtual store, we are truly operating as an omnichannel business and offering our customers an immersive 360-degree experience whenever and wherever they come into contact with the brand,” commented Tilbury.
