ARJEN VAN DE VALL - WATCHFINDER CEO

Watchfinder & Co. the pre-owned watch specialist has appointed Arjen van de Vall as CEO.

Arjen joined Watchfinder on the 1st April 2021 having spent the last 7 years at Rakuten, the Japanese e-commerce, fintech, digital content and communications company.

“We are delighted to have Arjen come on board; he brings a wealth of digital expertise into the group and, more specifically, Watchfinder. Arjen’s international experience will be instrumental in guiding the continued evolution and expansion of Watchfinder and further untapping its tremendous potential,” surmised Jérôme Lambert, Richemont Chief Executive Officer.

Watchfinder’s Co-Founder Matt Bowling, who has held the position of interim CEO for the last year, remains firmly within the business and will work alongside Arjen overseeing business operations and supporting the continued growth of the business.

From bestsellers, through to vintage and limited-edition pieces, Watchfinder offers over 4,000 watches from more than 70 luxury brands, all available online and via their network of boutiques and showrooms which include London, Paris, Geneva, Munich, Hong Kong and New York.

Watchfinder’s success and future potential was recognised in May 2018 when they were acquired by the Richemont group, alongside the online distributor YOOX NET-A-PORTER GROUP and some of the most prestigious names in the luxury industry – Cartier, Van Cleef & Arpels, IWC Schaffhausen, Jaeger-LeCoultre, Panerai, Piaget, Vacheron Constantin, Montblanc, dunhill and Chloé.
