SHANG XIA, a brand jointly owned by Exor, Hermès and Jiang Qiong Er, announced the appointment of designer Yang Li as Fashion Creative Director.
With this new appointment, SHANG XIA will further strengthen its fashion category and take a solid step towards becoming a global brand in the fashion and lifestyle sector.

Born in Beijing, China in 1987, Yang Li moved to Perth, Australia and received a scholarship to study at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design in London. 2010 saw the launch of his eponymous label YANG LI, which was shortlisted for the inaugural LVMH Prize for Young Designers in 2014.
Yang Li’s unique contemporary vision and innovative style make him the ideal fit for the label.
“Yang Li’s personality and proven talent, as well as his vision of modernity and understanding of sustainability, means he will naturally embrace and enrich the unique heritage of Shang Xia,” said Jiang Qiong Er, Co-Founder and Creative Director of Shang Xia.
“It is an honour to join SHANG XIA to embark on this incredible journey with such a talented team. I am looking forward to sharing my own creative experiences and take SHANG XIA into a new exciting chapter,” Yang Li said.

SHANG XIA also unveiled its new logo with horizontally laid-out lettering, highlighting the pioneering and innovative design vision that Yang Li brings to SHANG XIA. The first SHANG XIA collection designed by Yang Li will be launched on 4th October 2021, according to the official Paris Fashion Week schedule, marking the brand’s runway debut.
